Making your own salad dressing is quick, easy, and one of the very best ways to keep inflammatory fats and preservatives out of your diet. This basic recipe is really a template from which you can build any flavors that suit you. Or, it's tasty just as it is.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
â…“ cup vinegar (eg: balsamic, apple cider, etc)
1 teaspoon mustard
1 ½ teaspoon honey
pinch of salt (optional)

extra virgin olive oil
1½ tsp.
raw honey

vinegar

PREPARATION

Blend or whisk everything together and enjoy your salad. Extra will keep in the refrigerator for weeks.
TIPS

This recipe can be made smaller too - the ratio of oil to vinegar is 3:1.

Try adding nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor.

Try adding mayo at the end for a thicker dressing to top steamed vegetables.
